The images are from an art performance directed by Melody Hesaraky. The performance took place in February of 2023 in an art space in Bushwick, Brooklyn! Melody Hesaraky along with model Naz Gharai performed during a show called Rouge, which was a collective of female artists performing!

The story of conflict and war goes beyond nationality, borders and genders! We are all somehow suffering! The lack of balance and injustice in today’s world can be felt and seen everywhere! The fact that you still need to specify your gender, nationality and so on to others in order for them to make sense of the world is proof of humans' ignorance of itself!

Womanhood is a gift and a challenge at the same time! In order to fully experience your existence as a woman on this planet, you still have to fight on a daily basis, no matter where you live!

The female body has always been objectified and persecuted since the beginning of human history! I am honoring the human body as a canvas to break taboos and fear towards nudity and humanity!

My art is freeing physicality from fear of being and my way of seeing is freeing a judgmental mind from constructions that aren’t serving humanity!
